The 1957 live television adaptation of "Annie Get Your Gun" stars Mary Martin as Annie Oakley, a sharpshooter joining Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show, and John Raitt as her co-star Frank Butler, with whom she falls in love. The show features William O'Neal as Colonel 'Buffalo' Bill Cody, the founder of the Wild West Show, and Reta Shaw as Dolly Tate. Mary Martin also appears in "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken".
