In this musical comedy film, Cantinflas stars as Pepe, a hired hand on a ranch whose prized white stallion is stolen by a boozing Hollywood director, Mr. Holt. Determined to get his beloved horse back, Pepe sets off for Hollywood, where he meets a star-studded cast, including Jimmy Durante and Zsa Zsa Gabór, in various drag roles, and experiences the wonders of American technology like automatic swinging doors.
