Linda Blair stars as Nancy Aglet, a woman who becomes possessed for the second time in her life while viewing a prosperity gospel television program. After a visit to the hospital and a consultation with Father Luke Brophy (Anthony Starke), it's revealed that she's indeed possessed. In an attempt to help, Father Jebediah Mayii (Leslie Nielsen) refuses, claiming he's too weak, but eventually agrees to perform the exorcism after being teased by Father Brophy about his earlier defeat by Mayii. The exorcism takes a live broadcast on TV's Ernest and Fanny Miracle Hour, with commentary from Mean Gene Okerlund and Jesse "The Body" Ventura, but it's ultimately rendered ineffective until rock 'n roll is played to torment the devil, driving him away from Nancy's body for good.
