John Fujioka

Biography

John Mamoru Fujioka was an American actor of Japanese descent, born in Ola'a, Hawaii on June 29, 1925. He began his acting career in 1958 and gained recognition for roles as a Japanese holdout soldier in The Last Flight of Noah's Ark, Who Finds a Friend Finds a Treasure, and American Ninja. A veteran of the US Army, Fujioka served in Japan after World War II before transitioning to a social worker and later actor. He passed away on December 13, 2018 at age 93.
