American Yakuza

American Yakuza is a 1993 crime action film about an American FBI agent (Viggo Mortensen) who goes undercover to infiltrate a Japanese Yakuza clan at war with the mafia. He becomes embroiled in the organization after saving its leader Shuji Sawamoto and must navigate his loyalty to the FBI against his growing bond with the Yakuza family, including Sawamoto's goddaughter Yuko (who is also Brandt's love interest). As tensions rise, the agent must decide where his true loyalties lie.
