Artur Smolyaninov

Biography

Artur Smolyaninov was born on October 27, 1983, in Moscow to an art teacher mother and spent his childhood in Korolyov, Moscow Region. He made his cinematic debut at 14 in the 1998 film "Who If Not Us" before enrolling in the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts at 16, graduating with a dozen credits by 2004. His breakout role as Lyutyy in "9th Company" (2005) brought him widespread recognition.
