Virginia Christine

Biography

Virginia Christine Ricketts was born on March 5, 1920, in Stanton, Iowa, of Swedish descent, and later moved to California, where she enrolled at UCLA. She began her career working in radio and appeared in notable films such as "Billy the Kid Versus Dracula" (1966) and "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" (1956). Christine is best remembered for her long-running television commercials for Folgers Coffee during the 1960s and 1970s. She passed away on July 24, 1996.
