Cover Up

Insurance investigator Sam Donovan (Dennis O'Keefe) arrives in a small Midwestern town to investigate a recent death that appears to be a suicide, but he suspects murder. As he digs deeper, he meets Anita Weatherby (Barbara Britton), who is part of the family whose patriarch, Stu Weatherby (Art Baker), is a prime suspect after being found with a Luger pistol. Donovan's investigation leads him on a tense chase through the town, where everyone seems to be hiding something, and it ultimately reveals that Dr. Gerrow, the town's beloved physician, was the actual killer.
