Biography

Dennis O'Keefe was a child actor who joined his vaudevillian parents' act at a young age and later wrote stage skits. He began his film career as an extra in the early 1930s and landed a contract with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer after a notable role in Saratoga (1937). O'Keefe went on to star in films like The Bad Man of Brimstone and Burn 'Em Up O'Connor, before continuing his career in lower-budget productions.
