Biography

David Clark, born December 15, 1939, is an English musician and entrepreneur who led the 1960s beat group the Dave Clark Five. As the band's leader, co-songwriter, manager, and producer, he helped them achieve success in the UK, unseating The Beatles' "I Want to Hold Your Hand" from its number one spot in January 1964 with "Glad All Over". He was later inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2008.
