Jill Bennett

Biography

Jill Bennett was a British actress born in Penang to Scottish parents who owned a rubber plantation. She studied at RADA and made her West End debut in 1947, later appearing in notable films such as "For Your Eyes Only" (1981) and "The Charge of the Light Brigade" (1968), as well as television roles including "The Nanny" (1965). Bennett was also married to playwright John Osborne from 1973 until his death in 1994.
