Bret McKenzie is a comedian, actor, musician, and producer born on June 29, 1976, in Wellington, New Zealand. He co-founded the musical comedy duo Flight of the Conchords with Jemaine Clement, whose comedy and music inspired a BBC radio series and HBO television series. As a musician, McKenzie won an Academy Award for Best Original Song for "Man or Muppet" from The Muppets (2011).
