Edson Stroll

Biography

Edson Stroll was an American actor born in Chicago to a Jewish family in 1929, who enlisted in the US Navy and later pursued bodybuilding before studying acting and singing at the American Theater Wing. He appeared in numerous film and TV roles, including Virgil Edwards on "McHale's Navy" and its spin-off, as well as two episodes of "The Twilight Zone". Stroll also starred in Elvis Presley films and comedic roles for The Three Stooges.
