Biography
John Winston Ono Lennon was an English musician and singer-songwriter who rose to worldwide fame as one of the founding members of The Beatles. Born in Liverpool, he became involved in the skiffle craze as a teenager and formed The Quarrymen, which evolved into The Beatles. He later embarked on a successful solo career, producing critically acclaimed albums like "John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band" and "Imagine", before his murder by Mark Chapman three weeks after releasing new material with Double Fantasy.
