Grass

The film "Grass" (1999) is a Genie Award-winning documentary that explores the history of the United States' war on marijuana in the 20th century. The movie is narrated by Woody Harrelson and features archive footage of Tommy Chong, Cheech Marin, John Lennon, and Ronald Reagan. Through this historical footage, the film examines how the US government demonized marijuana, with much of the blame placed on Harry Anslinger, who promoted false information about marijuana to the public.
