Robert Kramer
Biography
Robert Kramer was a left-leaning American film director, screenwriter, and actor who directed 19 films between 1965 and 1999 from a left-wing perspective. A founding member of The Newsreel collective, Kramer wrote, directed, and starred in the 1970 thriller "Ice", and co-directed the 1975 film "Milestones" with John Douglas. His European work, including "À toute allure" (1982), cemented his reputation as a political modernist.
