Vera Baranovskaya

Biography

Vera Baranovskaya was a Russian and Soviet actress born in 1885 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. She studied acting at the Moscow Art Theatre, where she later became a member of the troupe in 1903. Her notable roles include Pelageya Nilovna Vlasova in "Mat" (1926) and the Worker's wife in "The End of St. Petersburg" (1927). She performed in over twenty films between 1916 and 1935.
