Shane Rimmer was a Canadian actor and screenwriter born Shane Lance Deacon in Toronto, Ontario in 1929. He spent most of his career in the UK, often playing supporting North American characters. Rimmer was known for his roles in iconic films such as Dr Strangelove, Rollerball, and Gandhi, as well as his voice work on Thunderbirds and numerous James Bond films.
