Bruce Lee Penhall, born May 10, 1957 in Balboa, California, is a former motorcycle speedway racer who also starred in television and film. He won the World Speedway Championship twice, in 1981 and 1982, before retiring that night at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. A multi-time world champion, Penhall's career was marked by impressive international competition, including appearances for the United States in the World Pairs and Team Cup.
