Jill Haworth
Biography
Valerie Jill Haworth was born in Hove, Sussex, to a textile magnate father and ballet dancer mother. She began her acting career at 15 with non-speaking parts in films like The 39 Steps and The Brides of Dracula before landing the role of Karen Hansen in Otto Preminger's Exodus. Haworth went on to work extensively with Preminger and other notable directors, including Terence Fisher and John Wayne.
