In Harm's Way

A 1965 American epic historical romantic war film, "In Harm's Way" stars John Wayne as Capt. Rockwell "Rock" Torrey, a Naval officer who finds a second chance to prove himself after being reprimanded following the attack on Pearl Harbor. Torrey's life becomes complicated when he reunites with his estranged son, and romance blossoms with Lt. Maggie Hayes (Patricia Neal). Kirk Douglas plays Commander Paul Eddington, Jr., a wayward naval officer struggling with his own demons. The film follows Torrey's journey as he is promoted to rear admiral and faces the challenges of commanding the "Skyhook" operation in the Pacific War.
