Biography

Groucho Marx was a master comedian and film star, born Julius Henry Marx on October 2, 1890, in Manhattan, New York City. He was the third-born of the Marx Brothers and appeared in three Broadway shows and thirteen feature films with his siblings, as well as having a successful solo career on radio and television. Groucho is renowned for his rapid-fire wit and distinctive appearance, including an exaggerated stooped posture and thick greasepaint mustache.
