Takehiro Hira is a Japanese theatre, film, and television actor born on July 27, 1974. He made his theatrical debut in 2002 with Rokumeikan and worked closely with his father Mikijirō Hira, who was also a Japanese actor. Hira received major recognition for his roles in NHK's taiga drama Atsuhime and Takashi Miike's films, including Hara-Kiri: Death of a Samurai and Ace Attorney.
