At the prestigious G7 summit, world leaders from six of the wealthiest liberal democracies converge in Germany to draft a statement on a global crisis, but their meeting quickly turns surreal and absurd as they venture into the woods and discover a mysterious, apocalyptic world. As they struggle to understand the situation, they must confront their own personal demons and the crumbling facade of adult society. With a talented ensemble cast led by Cate Blanchett, "Rumours" is a darkly comedic satire that expertly skewers the excesses of power and politics in a world on the brink of chaos.
