Biography

Eilleen Regina "Shania" Twain, born on August 28, 1965, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, adopted by Jerry Twain at age six after her mother remarried. After a devastating loss when she was just 22, Shania put her musical career on hold to raise her siblings but eventually signed with Mercury Nashville Records in 1991 and rose to fame with her second album The Woman in Me (1995). She became one of the best-selling female artists, known as "The Queen of Country Pop", after selling over 85 million albums.
