Hanna Skarżanka was a Polish actress and singer known for her roles in "A Year of the Quiet Sun" (1984) as matka Emilii and "Polowanie na muchy" (1969) as Włada. Born in 1917 in Minsk, she began studying drama at the University of Vilnius, later switching to Polish studies. During World War II, she worked for the Polish resistance movement, participating in the rescue of a prisoner.
