Roger Imhof was a versatile performer who transitioned from circus clown to film actor, starring in notable roles such as Senator Burnett in "This Gun for Hire" and General Nicholas Herkimer in "Drums Along the Mohawk". He also began his career in vaudeville and burlesque, eventually forming a long-lasting partnership with Hugh Conn and Marcel Corinne. Imhof's adaptability and writing skills earned him a spot in several popular sketches, including "The Pest House" and "Surgeon Louder, U.S.A.".
