Biography

Jonathan Felix Ashmore is a British physicist and Professor of Biophysics at University College London, born on April 16, 1948, to actors Peter Ashmore and Rosalie Crutchley in London. At age seven, he played Joe in the 1955 film "A Kid for Two Farthings". He studied mathematics and physics before earning a PhD in theoretical physics from Imperial College London in 1971.
