Biography

Lillian Hall-Davis was a talented English actress of the silent film era, known for her lead roles in films such as "The Farmer's Wife" (1928) and "The Ring" (1927), both directed by Alfred Hitchcock, whom she considered his "favourite actress." She also starred in the comedy short film "As We Lie" (1927) and had a notable part in the lavish production of "Quo Vadis" (1924). Her career declined due to health problems, leading to a tragic early death at the age of 35.
