Larry Hankin, born December 7, 1937, is an American character actor known for his memorable roles in Escape from Alcatraz (1979), Running Scared (1986), and Billy Madison (1995). He has also appeared in notable TV shows like Friends, Breaking Bad, and Home Alone. A veteran of improv, Hankin trained with Viola Spolin and Paul Sills at Second City before co-founding the San Francisco troupe The Committee in 1963.
