Laura Tonke is a German actress born on April 14, 1974, in West Berlin. She made her on-screen debut at 17 in Michael Klier's film "Ostkreuz" and went on to win the Lilli Palmer Memorial Camera Award for Best Young Actress in 2000. Her notable performances include her role as Gudrun Ensslin in Christopher Roth's "Baader" and her title character in Sonja Heiss's tragicomedy "Hedi Schneider steckt fest", for which she won two German Film Awards.
