Der Staat gegen Fritz Bauer

The late 1950s find Fritz Bauer, a determined German Jewish prosecutor, investigating the Third Reich's atrocities despite a country increasingly apathetic about its past. Bauer's journey takes him to Jerusalem to seek alliance with Mossad, the Israeli secret service, to bring Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann to justice. Characterized by bureaucratic and personal obstacles, Bauer perseveres in his pursuit, which ultimately leads to Eichmann's capture in Argentina and extradition to Israel.
