Byun Hee-bong was a Korean actor known for his frequent collaborations with filmmaker Bong Joon-ho. His notable roles include Park Hee-bong in The Host, where he won several awards including the 27th Blue Dragon Film Awards for best supporting actor, and appearances in Memories of Murder and Okja. Byun also began his voice acting career in 1963, initially with DBS Donga Broadcasting.
