Biography

Ichirō Nakatani was a Japanese actor born on April 1, 1930, who attended Waseda University before joining the Haiyuza Theatre Company. In 1959, he won the Elan d'or Award for Newcomer of the Year. Known for his iconic role as Ninja Kazaguruma no Yahichi in the jidaigeki drama Mito Kōmon, Nakatani appeared in notable films and TV shows such as Toyama in "Willful Murder" (1981) and Sanshimai (1967).
