Biography

Filippo De Gara was an Italian actor born in Palermo on August 11, 1928, who began his career in the early 1960s with notable roles in Luigi Zampa's "The Medico of Mutuality" (1968) and Luciano Salce's "Doctor Tersilli" (1969). He also appeared in the 1973 film "Diario di un maestro," alongside Bruno Cirino. De Gara's final appearance was in the 1988 miniseries "L'ombra della spia."
