Valeriy Zolotukhin
Biography
Valeriy Zolotukhin was a Soviet and Russian stage and cinema actor who made his mark in the 1960s at the Taganka Theatre, under Yuri Lyubimov's guidance. He gained recognition for his performances, culminating in being named People's Artist of the RSFSR in 1987. A resilient individual, Zolotukhin also drew attention to himself due to overcoming a life-threatening illness as a child, which required him to learn how to walk again after being bedridden with osteomyelitis at just seven years old.
