Viy

In the early-18th century, cartographer Jonathan Green (Jason Flemyng) undertakes a scientific voyage from Western Europe to the East, eventually finding himself in a small village lost in impassable woods of Dnieper Ukraine. There, he encounters a demonic entity, Viy, which has allegedly killed a woman and has the villagers believing they are cursed. As Jonathan tries to uncover the truth, he must navigate the village's mysterious dynamics, including the suspicious village elder Sotnik (Yuriy Tsurilo) and the enigmatic blacksmith's daughter Nastusya (Agnia Ditkovskyte).
