Nina Ruslanova
Biography
Nina Ruslanova was a Soviet and Russian theatre and film actress who studied at the Kharkiv Theatre Institute before debuting in Kira Muratova's 1967 film "Brief Encounters." She received the prestigious "People's Artist of Russia" award in 1998 for her remarkable career. Known for iconic roles such as Aunt Valya and General's Wife, Ruslanova appeared in over 150 films throughout her nearly 50-year career before passing away in 2021 due to COVID-19 complications.
