Afonya

Afanasy "Afonya" Borshchov is a lovable but troubled plumber whose life is on the brink of collapse. Drinking and womanizing have taken their toll, and his latest escapades only seem to bring him more trouble with the law and his own relationships. Yet, in a surprising turn, Afonya's chance encounters with young nurse Katya Snegireva lead him to reevaluate his life and find an unexpected glimmer of hope – or perhaps just a clever way to escape his troubles once again.
