Biography

Viktor Bychkov, born September 4, 1954, in Leningrad, Russia, began his acting career in the Soviet era, landing his first film role in The Last Escape (1980). A graduate of the Leningrad State Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinema, Bychkov's notable performances include Ivan/Psoltõ in "The Cuckoo" (2002), for which he won a Golden Eagle Award. He also received the 2004 State Prize of the Russian Federation.
