Biography

Shinpachirō Asaka was a Japanese actor born on December 1, 1906, in Funatsu, Hokkaido. He debuted in 1928 with "無念丸橋忠弥" and went on to appear in numerous films, including "沓掛時次郎" and "お嬢お吉." Asaka married actress Mori Seiko in 1937 and later co-founded the theater troupe "新生国民座" with her. He passed away on December 27, 1944, at the age of 37.
