Tony Azito

Biography

Tony Azito was a character actor known for his eccentric and comedic roles, often highlighted by his hyperextended body. A graduate of the Juilliard School's drama division, he drew inspiration from choreographer Anna Sokolow and began studying modern dance before transitioning to acting. Azito gained recognition for his parts in "The Pirates of Penzance," "Moonstruck," and "The Addams Family." He passed away on May 26, 1995.
