Arthur Young

Biography

Arthur Young was a notable English actor born on September 2, 1898, in Bristol. He appeared in notable roles such as Gladstone in the 1951 film "The Lady with a Lamp" and Mr. Arthur Birling in the 1954 adaptation of "An Inspector Calls." A prolific stage and radio performer, Young was also part of the Corporation's Drama Repertory Company in the late 1950s.
