An Inspector Calls

At a dinner party, the prosperous Birling family's evening is disrupted by a police inspector who brings news that a young girl known to everyone present has died in suspicious circumstances. It seems that any or all of them could have had a hand in her death. The inspector lays before them a cleverly constructed series of theories that expose their own moral failings, revealing the tangled web of relationships and actions that led to the tragic event.
