Dennes Dale Boon, known as D. Boon, was an American musician and guitarist for the punk rock trio Minutemen, formed in 1980 with Mike Watt and George Hurley. A key figure in the development of punk rock and independent music, he left a lasting impact on his genre despite his early death in 1985. Boon's music was marked by its energetic pace and politically charged lyrics. He is remembered as one of the most technically accomplished American punk guitarists of his era.
