Biography

Owen O'Neill is a Northern Irish writer, actor, director, and comedian, born in Cookstown to a family of 16 children. He began his career in poetry, winning a BBC Radio 4 competition in 1981, and his stand-up evolved from this. O'Neill is a veteran of the Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, with notable wins including the 1999 Fringe First for his show.
