Biography
Jill Esmond was a talented English actress who began her career on stage, making her debut as Wendy in Peter Pan before transitioning to film and Broadway productions. Her breakthrough role came with Alfred Hitchcock's The Skin Game (1931), followed by notable performances in Thirteen Women and A Bill of Divorcement. She also appeared alongside Laurence Olivier in several productions, including Private Lives and The Green Bay Tree, before eventually stepping back from her acting career to focus on family.
