A Man Called Peter

Based on the true story of Peter Marshall's life, "A Man Called Peter" tells the biographical drama of a young Scottish lad who dreams of only going to sea but finds his calling as a minister after a near-death experience. He leaves Scotland and moves to America where he becomes pastor of the Church of the Presidents in Washington, D.C. and eventually chaplain of the U.S. Senate. Richard Todd stars as The Rev. Peter Marshall, alongside Jean Peters as Catherine Wood Marshall, who inspires him with her help at an event for college students.
