Ernest Mingione is a character actor known for his recurring roles as police officers, most notably in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Third Watch. He also had a notable stint on the CBS soap As the World Turns as Rocco Ciccone from 2010 to 2013. Mingione has appeared in several stage productions, including Charles Messina's play Merging, which won Best Play at The Players' Theater's Shortened Attention Span Theater Festival in 2007.
