David Henesy is an American actor born on October 20, 1956, in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. He is best known for his iconic role as David Collins in the cult classic series Dark Shadows, which he played from 1967 to 1971. He also appeared in the film adaptation, House of Dark Shadows, in 1970, and made a notable guest appearance in the TV series The Waltons in 1973.
